Post turbo manifold question?
So I have the ebay manifold on my car and it has worked great for me. but after I had a small oil fire in the engine bay it has just never looked the same. so I am wondering what kinda paint or coating can i have done to it to spiff it up a bit. would regular engine paint work? i have seen the manifold glowing red before so I know it gets hot as hell.
i found this but i was thinking something a little more diy http://carcraftinc.com/turbohot.html

what do you guys think?

I've never seen paint stick on manifolds for very long. Header wrap ftw.

header wrap is def the best option, but they make high temp header paint that would work. I think it's good to 2000* F, made by Rustoleum.

i've tried the regular header paint and it just turns like a powder color and starts looking shitty. thats what i have now i just have header wrap all over it lol.
